Highly recommend Michael Platt Jewellers. As it was our 30th wedding anniversary we decided to get my 3 stone engagement ring repaired. Missing diamond and the complete setting was replaced. My ring was always beautiful but Michael Platts have made it even more beautiful! They did a wonderful job and even managed to get the repair done in time for my anniversary. Cannot thank them enough. Every member of staff was friendly and very helpful, and I was especially grateful for their adherence to wearing masks, and providing antibac gel at every visit during this very difficult Covid period.

My wife' engagement ring lost one of the baguette diamonds and I took it along to see if they could source a replacement stone. The 18k white gold ring was not new when we acquired it, but when I collected it following the repair just over a week and a half later it was better than new, with the settings strengthened and re-polished to show off the stones to the max. Worth every penny, and highly recommended!

I had my engagement ring remade by Grace. It is a family heirloom and the job done is stunning - it looks exactly like the original but is no longer so fragile. The ring was cleaned and looks amazing. Thoroughly recommend!

Simply outstanding. There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was when looking for an engagement ring. We were greeted by Elayne (one of the shop owners) who took the time to talk us through diamonds and engagement rings. We had no idea there was so much to know and she made sure not to overwhelm us with information. She was extremely genuine and provided us with options according to what we were looking for. We were then seen by Natalie (ring designer) who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her job. We found our ring that very day! We could not be happier with the dedication of the team and their genuine excitement for our engagement. We will be returning to get our weddings bands from there - for sure!

I took my mother’s old engagement ring to Michael Platt to be restored, so that I could propose to my girlfriend. I ended up dealing with a young lady called Grace. I honestly don’t think I could have been any luckier. She restored the ring beyond expectation and replaced a damaged gem with an amazing tanzanite gem. Grace’s work exceeded all expectations and my now-fiancé loves the ring! Fast forward a few months and we decided to use Michael Platt for our wedding bands. Again, Grace was exceptionally helpful and worked with us to get the designs right. We went to see the rings on Sunday and they’ve completely blown us away! We love them! Safe to say, we feel very lucky to have come across Michael Platt, and to have had Grace work on our rings. For those considering Michael Platt- they’re not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I 100% believe that Grace’s work is work every penny!
