I wanted to put in writing my satisfaction on using your services for a valuation recently.
My mother has over the years accumulated a number of nice pieces of jewellery. Add to that inherited pieces from her mother, it was quite a collection.
When pressing her, it was clear these items were not specified on her contents insurance and she certainly didn’t have any receipts or evidence of the items.
I approached you for an insurance valuation and the amount exceeded three times the value my mother had estimated.
To anyone who might have valuable items, I would strongly recommend you get Brooks Jewellery to provide you with an insurance valuation. Receipts of what you paid for them do not represent the true value in today’s market. We have now been able to get these items insured from fire and theft. The cost in doing so was really negligible to the peace of mind that we now have and would recommend many people doing the same who are no doubt in a similar situation.
