Lovely park
The place is closed due to Covis 19.
So meanwhile couldn't leave a comment.
And it wasn't updated on all websites about possible closure.
It's a peaceful Haven located within town with ample inexpensive paid parking. We walked a good portion along the wooden foot path, and despite very diligent watching, and being very quiet were sad to not spot a single red squirrel. It was however very beautiful and soothing. It's an relatively easy walk thanks to the footpaths with some gentle inclines and declines.
Lovely place to take the dog for a walk, some of it is on a boardwalk. large car park area ( charges apply). We went on a hot day and it was lovely walking through, with the trees providing some shade.
Absolutely beautiful walk. Took my wife, three kids and six grandchildren for a walk and all had a lovely day. Saw herons, loads of birds and squirrels. Bliss. 😁
