A wonderful place for a walk. Easy to park, good paths with many trails to explore, including some to the Grand Union Canal. But you do need to share some areas with golfers

An amazing ancient woodland with masses of trails for all ages of cyclists and degrees of cycling. Dog walkers could do picking up after themselves. People could also do with paying attention to their surroundings and look out for others. Golf course is a bit of a joke with golfers just hitting balls into people. But the woods are amazing, and full of history. Loads of great picnicking spots and photo moments. Perfect for filming downhill trail riding.

I saw many places, playing forrest. This one is at the same top. Cutted trees, died birds, a lot of rubbishes. Thanks god, no asphalt in a "forrest". As for me, after almost five years in Norway - not even a disaster. If I want to walk on marked walkways, I can stay in a city. One star is too much.

Nice wooded area with at least three car parks and easy access to walks into the countryside or along the river Gade or into Cassiobury park. Also easy access to footpaths around the Grange Hotel. This does however mean that the woods are very popular and this is not the place to come if you are looking for quiet, seclusion or isolation amongst nature.
