I took a walk the other day and the weather was perfect. I departed from common moor L1 and proceeded down the embankment or tow path about 15 mins towards Batchworth lock. I have a narrow boat cruiser moored in croxley green, common moor. Ebury way takes us through the lakes and rivers running either side of the Grand Union Canal which is 20 minutes away from common moor. The walks are breathtaking and well worth the visit. Rickmansworth town is more or less at the end of Ebury Way and has numerous pubs, inns and restaurants all of whom serve good food.

I use this path a lot, I cycle from Ricky to watford it's beautiful, with lakes and rivers and bits of old railway track and sleepers

Lovely path linking up areas in and around, Watford, Rickmansworth etc. Great for bike rides, walks and scooters
