Fine staff on duty help with heavy stuff available. Social distancing and safe payment excellent.
I would like Asda to explain why none of their staff are wearing face masks including those walking around the store and stocking shelves. I understand they may be implementing other measures with their staff but it made me feel very uncomfortable and is giving the wrong message to customers many of whom were also not wearing face masks and not taking any social distancing precautions. I have shopped here for years but wont be going back any time soon.
Just been to ask pharmacist Mike about an eye problem and he was on his lunch. He overheard my conversation with the counter assistant who asked if I could call back in 20 minutes, and he came to counter to help.
He wasn’t familiar with my problem and advised I check with the in store optician but after asking we were told there was no optician in the store today.
Mike made further enquires via phone to an optician who advised what they THOUGHT it could be and suggested I seek further help to an optician if needed. He was very reassuring and went out of his way to help me and would like to thank him for being so concerned and helpful!

The only place I feel safe shopping during lockdown, I feel like this Asda has got social distancing down really well and as I am 8 months pregnant I always feel safe there.
It is very disappointing that this store is making no effort to encourage covid-19 prevention. And hasn't done from the start
An increasing number of people not wearing face covering. Couples. Families. Single man wandering around shouting into a phone. Hand gel availability is random. Staff making no effort to distance. No mask no anything.
Other stores in the area are taking this more seriously.
Maybe it should not be surprising. Asda is an American owned company.
Tesco in Leyland and Sainsbury in bamber bridge are much better managed and have been all through this mess.
