Came in for a dog tag engraving , professional helpful member of staff who made clear Covid measures including sanitised hands before touching pen etc , very happy
No price transparent at all.
I call them twice and ask for quotation just to compare. I gave them my post code. At one time, one guy says its 60£ per call out on weekday while the other time the other guy says 80£ per call out on weekday. I challenge them why price are different. They challenge me back asking “ thats why i ask you if someone give you the price before’...
Therefore i believe their business model are based on commission on transaction, and hence they have incentive to charge you a high quotation. It’s a inherent conflict of interest problem in their business model.
As a customer, I will consider to compare different locksmith service before you choose timpson.
For Timpson, your brand has such a big name and I would highly suggest you to bring more price transparency and being fair on price to all customers.
