Great service, good tunes and a text when your wash is ready. There are cheaper service washes available but none give this level of service. Great if you're a boater too.
Do it yourself or service washes available.
The family who run this business are very friendly and efficient.
The machines work really well - medium self-service wash £6 and large £7 with dryers accepting 20p & £1 coins.
You can get change there which has been a nice change from many other laundrettes I’ve been to before!
I got recommended Frank's place by a successful fashion designer as he's an expert with silks. The results were fabulous. He got through some tough stains on my favourite coat.
Great community launderette but do sit with your washing while it's in the machine. I was in here yesterday (04/02/20) left my washing running in the big machine next to the door and came back from lunch to find someone had been in it, machine door open with a few bits strewn on the floor. Only later did I find that several items of clothing had gone missing, mainly smalls believe it or not! Nothing bad on the staff though, I wouldn't expect them to be running security. A cautionary tale..
This is a unique and exceptional laundry. It is self service but the staff help you. I have seen them being very kind with older or vulnerable people
They have helped a lot of people in the pandemic. Zak is testament to what being part of a community is. They have full service too, and dry cleaning. They also are on the MyLaundress app. They can give you coins if you have no change, and Zak wants to ultimately have contactless on the machines.
