I had a great experience, very friendly. Had a pair of trousers altered and they now fit and are usable! The other I had made a hole in some designer trousers and you can’t even see it anymore.

Asked for some simple alterations (shortening a couple t-shirts and shortening some jeans) but when I received my clothes back the stitching was out of line and not straight, my jeans are damaged beyond repair. I asked if they could fix what they had done but when I got the clothes back they were no better (if not worse) I asked for a full refund and the owner was very rude telling me I was in the wrong. Do not use the alterations service from Alev's if you want straight/neat stitching

TERRIBLE. My favourite winter coat has just come back with the faux fur trim around the hood all burned/melted. Clearly it was put in the tumble drier?! This is not somewhere you should take your clothes to be laundered.
