Lovely place, we did the circular walk, managed to see some seals and pups. Only negatives were that the walk was very poorly sign posted in places and despite the RSPB website saying that there were temporary toilets in the first car park, there are none (the visitor center is closed for improvement). Also the ticket machine was not working in the second car park and the one that was working in the first car park only accepted cash, no cards. Main car park was very full by 11.00am. Would definitely return at a different time of year to see the puffins.

Time spent on Holy Island, whether during the day or in the evening, guarantees you wonderful moments. Jump on the path along the cliffs and have fun!

South stack lighthouse is worth a visit. A cliff area and some steep steps. On a clear day good views across the Irish sea.

Awesome location, totally breath-taking (and that wasn't because of the fierce winds blowing on the day of our visit). At the time of our visit, 9th October 2020, the visitor centre and cafe were closed for refurbishment and the lighthouse closed because of Covid 19. However the RSPB have table and a very knowledgeable and friendly member of the team available to guide and advise located in the lower car park. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for an exposed coastal cliff location.
