Asda Leyton Mills Superstore

This shop is amazing. I prefer going to this Asda than the local one. This store has everything I need! They have a bigger world food section which is amazing. I never leave here without at least a few things from the world food section. I've almost never left without getting everything I need. There are enough tills to meet the demand so that's another good thing. The only thing I think is missing is having the scan and go option. If they had that here I'd ALWAYS only visit this one. Keep up the good work!

Asda is amazing u can find anything u need. LITERALLY, ANYTHING! food, drinks, equipments, electronics, and more. Their smart price are usually of very good quality also they provide other competitive products. I also find it easier to check the products on the app before going to know the latest roll back and discounts. It is usually a fun adventure to buy one or two things that I was not even thinking to buy on roll back to try.

It's a good supermarket with decent prices. It's a popular supermarket so expect to find a lot of nationalities and stereotypes. It does get VERY busy at festive periods but has a great selection of pretty much everything large supermarkets offer. Staff is helpful and always smile.

Well stocked store. Great Covid-19 prevention measures in place outside the store, this goes completely to put once you get inside. Shopper's seen with face masks down, no social distancing observed or being enforce until you get into the tills.

I visited this store on the 16th and the 14th of September. The quality of the products is high and excellent value for money. I am particularly impressed by their breads, meats, and exotic products like dates and chilli sauces (If you like your sauces hot try Manda African chilli sauce. It’ll blow your head-off!). But I was shocked by the number of customers and staff not wearing masks. They had a bored-looking member of staff at the entrance but on my first visit, he was chatting with his colleague while non-masked customers walked right past him without being challenged. On my second visit on the 16th, there were free masks available at the entrance, but many customers completely ignored it and went right in, unmasked. I have not seen a single attempt at enforcing it, or heard an announcement encouraging customers to wear them. Even more shocking was the number of staff not wearing their masks. This lax attitude to masking and social distancing was typified by the member of staff who approached me at the checkout; stood very close to me (unmasked), touched my products (un-gloved) joking with his colleague and supposedly me about how she ‘drinks a little bit’ of customers’ beers. I have to say the staff member serving me remained professional and helpful throughout this incident and helped me with the packing. I used to like their rotisserie products like roasted chicken but after watching customers touch and squeeze products without a single challenge or even a notice to customers advising them not to touch products, I avoid whole sections of the shop now. Being a supermarket staff is hard and we truly appreciate their service. And overall, I like this store in many ways. But I can tell you I was scared while shopping there last few times. Urgent action and staff training required
