Lovely park for relaxing in the sun with plenty of space to find your own spot despite the fact it does get very busy. The car park has 150 places which soon fill up so do some research into nearby car parks and have a plan B and C so you don't get stressed and waste the day waiting for someone to leave. Cost is £3.80 for the day. There are roman remains, a museum, duck ponds and a café, as well as the Abbey nearby. Well worth a visit.
Clear signage, nice wide spaces, disabled parking is free for three hours. Close for Veralamium park, museum and the Roman theatre. You can also pay by app if you don’t have cash.
Typical of any car park. If you are visiting the museum I suggest you park your car before 9.45. As the car tends to fill up quite quickly. (Museum opens at 10am). Ticket machine is cash only.
Good parking, be sure to go early. It gets full later in the day
Surprisingly full for lockdown.
