Amazing place I had just been in a football game in Manchester and I came here with my auntie and uncle very very nice staff
Nothing special. It's a while since we were there, well before Covid arrived on a Sunday late morning for a brew to warm up a bit.
It was very smoky inside for some reason and the tables weren't particularly clean. On top of that, the menu is quite expensive. There are other places in the village which offer a Sunday Lunch at a far more reasonable price.
Albeit, they may not be by the river but even this café doesn't offer fantastic views, only a few select tables allow a view through the windows towards the river Wyre.
Weak and Luke warm tea with tasteless sausage sandwiches, not good
Very good fish and chips enjoyed them and when in the area I WILL BE BACK
I thought pepper lane chippy was the best but this is on par
There is also a mobile ice cream van on the front close by that does proper ice cream
