The lake now has a solid gate reventing access to the lakeside so very disappointing for my 95yr old mother who used to enjoy seeing the wildlie on the lake. She has been shielding so was very disappointed. Not sure why, perhaps a notice could be put on the gate to explain. I can only assume as there were 3 cars parked by the lake that these people have a key. Good to see clear guidance for dog owners. I enjoyed feeding the birds but my mum had to sit in the top car park and saw nothing.

Lovley place, fishing, football, trains place's to walk but no loo's at this moment & you can't go into the trains unless you are a member but when COVID19 decides to go they have public days 😀

Become an incredible start to the morning walking the puppet round here, small, quiet and just generally peaceful. It's a lovely walk.
