Absolutely incredible service from All Electric. We have been having major problems with Scottish Power for about six to eight months with Mam's electric bills. Extremely high bills, each £600+ for a woman living on her own. When I suggested to them that the meter was broken, I just kept getting the same answer over and over, 'our meters don't break', 'your mum must be using a lot of electricity'. We were stressed beyond belief. My uncle contacted All Electric who came over and inspected the meter and all of her appliances, and yes, one of the meters was still turning even when the electricity to the house was switched off. They were incredible with Mam and us, so polite, reassuring and took the time to explain everything to us in a way that we would understand. They provided us with their assessment, which Scottish Power accepted and are now replacing the meter. We cannot thank All Electric enough for what they have done for us. They have helped us make Scottish Power listen to us and accept the bills were ridiculously high, but more importantly made sure that Mam was safe given the amount of electricity going in to the house. We cannot recommend All Electric enough or thank them enough.

I didn't get any work from them in the end so cannot comment on quality. They quoted me the cost of a rewire for a 3 bed semi detached house - £4,500+VAT plus the cost of the spotlights we wanted. This came to over £5000. I didn't know the going rate but the subsequent 3 quotes did not exceed £2600 which included the VAT and spotlights. I was so disappointed considering my family had used all electric in the past and been very happy with their work. A supervisor came round to give me a quote, he spent under 2 minutes in each room (of the 2 he actually went in) and seemed to pluck a number out of nowhere, the other quotes I received from other electricians were itemised including materials and labour. As I say I cannot comment on their work and based on comments I am sure they do a good job, but I don't think reputation excuses charging double their competition. We have now had the rewire done, certificate received and excellent service - £2500 all in. My advice to all is do your research and don't accept your first quote.

What great service from this company! Arrived on time to survey the job then came back to complete it exactly when they said they would! (What a refreshing change that was!) polite and efficient and we are more than pleased with the result. Would definitely use them again. Thankyou.

Great and friendly firm! Booked to call round at 08.30, the young man arrived early! He checked the 2 small jobs then cracked on, had them both finished within 40 minutes, left no mess! Very professional will definitely use them again for other jobs.
