Thank you for making my shopping experience d SF I easy and stress free. Encouraged to wear masks. Numbers control member of staff on foot. Hand sanitizer and one way system. Crafts now in main building. Staff SO helpful. Well done to you all šŸ’•

Ah finally a trip to the mothership- long fabled in the lush lands of green Wales and perfect excuse for a family staycation aka a North wales coast exploration šŸ˜œ The set up post Covid is both carefully considered and appropriate in both shop and cafe and as coach loads can descend here, most prudent. As an abakhan regular, iā€™d say their dressmaking selection are second to none and I was restrained in my choices. The cafe was both socially distanced and well managed and recommendations from previous reviews such as the Welsh rarebit, are seconded here. Their chips are sublime, I think we both wished we had ordered more šŸ˜‚ And Iā€™m making no apologies for my fabric widow husbands review- I was done and dusted in 30 minutes you know šŸ˜‚ They were flabbergasted šŸ˜®

First time reviewing Abakhan and unfortunately it was not a nice visit at all. One star goes to the cafe - it was fine. Food is good, coffee nice. That's it. First time I've not bought anything due to appalling customer service. The shop was incredibly messy - fabric all over the place, the upstairs baskets were one big bundle of mess. The greeter by the door explained the rules which frankly speaking were pointless. To get to one clearly empty section of the shop, you had to walk around the entire 'one way' system and pass several other people! What's the point in that? You already control the number of customers entering the place, why not limit contact of customers? At no point I was made feel like a customer, more like a nuisance and trouble - pretty much sharing the views of many other customers. I'm not going to come back.

Great place for all things craft. Huge range at reasonable prices, if you can't find something you like then there is something wrong with you!!! There is a full range of craft items, sewing patterns, haberdashery, yarn and all types of fabric. Really friendly staff, no pressure to buy or hurry. Following covid rules really well. Will definitely go back.

A gem of a find. A vast variety of Fabric and craft materials available. Very well stocked and reasonably priced. The coffee shop and kiddies playground is also worth a visit.
