The vets and nurses were incredibly attentive to our beautiful cat Lycan. They tried to do everything to help him. They were also incredibly sympathetic and understanding during the very difficult palliative care stage.

Very expensive since being taken over by Medivet. I paid just for 1 item of medication 7 times the amount I paid 3 years ago. I checked the prices of medication on Google which were nowhere near what I was charged. Apart from this the vets and nurses were friendly and professional. Better to check prices beforehand. KA

Beautiful very old ex train station well worth a stop to look at the old pictures, where you can see the building has hardly changed in over 130 years, I love to see old pictures of things in st albans 😍

Gone downhill since Medivet takeover (they were really exceptional before). Since then they : 1. lost records of my fat, did not send any vaccine reminders 2. reception staff being rude, not chasing cases through, unhelpful in regards to sending prescriptions etc 3. my cat has been misdiagnosed :we came with skin condition, her fur was falling out in big chunks, vet brought cat out-covid times- saying this is dandruff as she didn’t notice any hair changers (cat had a number of 0.5 inch stripes of fur gone!how could you not notice). I was given a bunch of sumplements (one of them makes my cat sick, the other makes the skin condition worst) and told we might need to do biopsy to find out what that is (my cat is 13, this would be full operation at 500GBP). Vet didn’t check the system as she would know the cat has a flea allergy before and to be honest I wasn’t sure if this is the same condition. 6 calls (and 2 weeks later) I had to go back for a steroid injection which sorted everything out. But then I started using their skin supplements which made things worst again. I cannot forgive them for all the stress and pet they causing to my pet, because of their unprofessionalism.I will be changing the vets- please consider doing the same if you have choice.
