Really great, free museum that punches above its weight for quality and has impressive artifacts from all time periods . Operated during a one way system during Covid and well signposted, so maybe previous reviews saying hard to navigate no longer apply? We did not find this to be the case at all.

Love the new library. Love the museum. Very well laid out and fascinating. Some people seem to be moaning about lack of signs but the staff are to hand so ask them!

Very nice and modern building. However it has an extremely poor layout. The Children’s section seems to be squeezed into the corner with no real thought to events and there is no plan for the building so everyone is lost and can’t get from the library to the gallery or museum without asking anyone for help. The staff are however extremely helpful and friendly.

A must see... Fascinating displays, great collections and an iconic building. Fascinating insight into the story of Brecon.
