ordered a bacon bap from the menu only to be told it's not on the menu. Presented card for payment only to be told there's a minimum spend for card although admittedly not advertised as such. Advised to visit local cashpoint, returned with cash to a sly remark from a rude team member, presumably management. Not a one star review because the lady serving was apologetic and pleasant. Everything else was outdated and lacklustre plus I was surprised to see a 5 star food hygiene rating in an establishment where no gloves are worn to handle all types of food.
Best place for a Saturday morning bacon and sausage roll. Great value.
Excellent bread and cakes here. They also make pies etc. Many workers call in regularly for their mid day snacks. There is a small area to sit if needed, but not a cafe as such. Lovely!
