Clean, nice seating areas, peaceful with nice views. River is nice to walk along. Bit of pollution in the river, which is a shame as are the drunks as you first come in. That's the only bit that lets this area down. Nice children's play area on the right of the river, heading out of town. Walked here many times.

Peaceful and delightful area with attractive walks available along the river bank. Well maintained gardens and interesting trees and plants. A number of bridges are available to cross the river. Ideal for a quiet rest from shopping in the nearby town centre.

This is a brilliant beautiful place to spend some quality time outside in the nature and enjoy beautiful weather. The stream running trough the middle of the park makes it even more enjoyable and pleasant! Great place to have a picnic, read a book, go for a stroll, physical exercise, watch the nature's busy pace and much more! As well the historical town of Canterbury has loads to offer, from nice historical heritage to vibrant modern activities! Totally recommended 👍🏻

A very relaxing place to go and chill out or to take a nice stroll in the park. You can walk along the river and rest on any of the benches that are spaced alongside or just sit down on the grass or rocks and chill out. You can also have a run around (if you are a kid or an enthusiastic adult) and dogs on the lead are allowed as well. its a very beautiful place to go and visit and there is something for everyone to enjoy. You can even paddle with your feet in the water if you feel up to it.

Well kept public gardens with part of the River Stour running through it. A peaceful oasis in the heart of the City
