Very pleased with the work, especially given the challenges of working during a time of social distancing. Although the project was complicated and there were unforeseen delays, the team were able to deal with these well, and worked with us in getting our kitchen completed as we wanted it. I appreciated the way they kept us informed of what was happening, and made sure we were happy with the work, even down to checking any snags with us. Very thorough in their approach.

Very very pleased with the work completed. Had plastering and decorating in 3 rooms. Professional, friendly and all works completed to a high standard. Andy and Kai were amazing with the amount of work they completed and their friendly personalities they took great pride in their work, nothing was too much trouble and they left all rooms spotless. I’ve just used B.P.S, James and Lisa for a total bathroom overhaul/refit. We had a variety of quotes and not only were James and Lisa competitively priced but when we met them they were professional, organised and they seemed instinctively good people. In the initial meeting we went through everything from our design (what they thought was feasible) but also some fantastic suggestions that you wouldn’t know were possible unless you were in the trade. Lisa and James are a family run business who due to their ever increasing popularity are expanding. During Covid - which itself must prove problematic to businesses - some new staff and apprentices were taken on but never once did that affect either the quality of work or smoothness of the daily tasks. I was allocated Rod, who is a multiskilled craftsman and my word did I strike gold. There is nothing that man can’t do, but his forte is tiling. He simply was amazing. We discussed at length how I envisaged the bathroom and on a daily basis went through in depth tile suggestions and furniture planning until we came up with what for us was the perfect bathroom. Rod is a total perfectionist (much like Lisa and James) and has a heart of gold, he takes extraordinary pride in his work and went over and above on each step of the re-fit to ensure that the end result was on point to the nearest mm and the outcome was second to none. I hate beading and therefore Rod mitred the tiles for me which created more work but James and Lisa willingly accommodated the request and the result is magnificent. We were estimated 3 weeks for completion and it took just over that due to the additional mitring and me deciding at the last minute to have downlighters above the shower. All changes were accommodated with a smile and James popped in to oversee the work weekly and was always on hand if I had any queries. Lisa is a force to be reckoned with in terms of customer service and telephoned or text me daily with updates and to ensure I was 100% happy. You are obviously not their only customer but you are made to feel you are. I am absolutely delighted with the bathroom. It has surpassed my expectations and I’ve already asked for my downstairs kitchen sink to be quoted for. They will definitely be my ‘people’ for anything and everything now. They are honest, reliable, great tradespeople, efficient, and genuinely nice people and they deserve every bit of success that comes their way. Absolutely fantastic job and company and I recommend them unreservedly.

We have recently had James and the team over to complete a new bathroom. We wanted to make our bathroom bigger so this was a large job. We are really pleased with the end result, the work done was done to a high standard and the communication between myself and Burtons property services has been brilliant. I will be using you again when we get around to doing the kitchen. Thank-you
