Uckfield Hospital

The most horrific treatment, or evidently lack of, my grandad received. After being on the road to recovery in another hospital, he got transferred here to be closer to home and the neglectful behaviour he received is so shocking. He was there for weeks, and everytime I phoned to talk to him, the people who picked up (other than only one time when one lady was nice) were so rude (coughing and sneezing down the phone which was disgusting, not even acknowledging me on the phone) and I even overheard them getting agitated at my grandad (he was hallucinating and imaging he was elsewhere and they were getting angry at him for this and I was trying so hard to calm him down and they were not helpful at all). Moreover, he was so neglected. His belongings would always go missing and clearly no one helped him find them, so he went days without his washbag, his eye drops etc (the only person allowed to visit was my nan-and eventually my aunt- due to covid which I understand but also not completely helpful in situations like this). When he came home, he hadn't had his clothes changed in days,they were so dirty. He wasn't even home for 12 hours before he had to get rushed back to a different hospital due to such neglect. He was so dehydrated, which anyone could tell, yet they did absolutely nothing to help him and just said his symptoms are due to something else. Absolutely awful behaviour from everyone there, disgusting

Walked into minors and was greeted by very caring staff! They couldn’t treat my Granddaughter as she need to see a Doctor. They said ring 111 and I was seen in the same hospital GP on call department after waiting a little while. Fantastic service.

Had to go here today as I'd hurt my foot and needed an X ray, treatment etc. From the outset everyone was very friendly & welcoming. I was in and out in a little over 2 hours, which isn't bad at all. The duty nurse (Deborah) who treated me was lovely, a real credit to the hospital. Places like this are the very reason why we should protect and cherish the NHS at all costs! Thank you for your kindness today!

I've literally just got home after having a wisdom tooth removal & this review is the first thing I wanted to do. The two ladies in the dentist were amazing. I was a bit all over the place as my pain had left me with very little sleep for a couple of weeks, but they made everything so comfortable and just made sure everything went perfectly every step of the way. All possibilities were discussed prior to extraction and letting me know what was happening during, checking in with me all throughout the procedure. I really can't praise the girls enough, thank you :)

Received Very caring and professional treatment by the team today. Left feeling in safe hands
