Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced.
Came here to support a mate who was going through a difficult time.
Got to the court at 0900 as his hearing was at 0930. I parked my car at Mill Street car park. The maximum stay there is 4 hours but I thought that that would be plenty of time.
At 1300, they stopped for lunch and we were still there. I had to move my car as the 4 hour limit had ended.
We eventually got out at 1500, five and a half hours after the appointment time.
Cost me almost £10 in parking and my mate was only seen for 5 mins.
So, this is where the tax payers money is going....
My questions are, why was my mate called in at 0930? Why were people that came after us, seen before us? Why was there no updates as to when he'll be seen, rather than "as soon as we can"?
Staff were friendly so deserve the 1 star.
I've never experienced anything like this before so hope that other courts aren't like this.
Avoid if you can...
Poor service (I waited almost 5 hrs) but the jurors and judges were decent.
A disgusting dump. It’s full of dishonest people who like to pit people against one another, and also have very rude and unempethic people working there. This place is also anti-disability, so don’t think your needs will be accommodated here.
Hard to give a positive review of this place really.
It's dim, dingy, grimy and depressing. It's possibly the worst place to have to attend jury duty if you're unlucky enough to be called. It's possibly the ugliest building I have ever seen both inside and out, and given it's prime location right on the Medway you have to wonder how it ever got planning permission - regardless of the use it serves. Oh, and you can't park, anywhere. Unless you're a judge. Great.
Very rude and unhelpful staff- reception go out of their way to belittle any member of the public who has to attend court. A very poor service to the public .
