Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Dartford

Do not use these scam merchants. First off they said the van was full of diesel, got halfway down the road and noticed that it was only 3/4 full, as I was running late for my pick up I didn't turn round as I thought I could argue about it when I got back. The second thing, I received a phone call about 45 mins in to my journey saying that my car was illegally parked out side their office, and I would be fined £50 if I didn't come back and move it, even though we did check that my car was OK where it was before we left and 2 members of staff had said it was. The 3rd thing, when we came back and handed over the keys, the member of staff when checking the van over, went straight to a small hole less than the size of a 5p coin in the rear light. she didn't mention the 2 small dents and scuff marks on the rear door panel and passenger door. Luckily, I had taken photos of those, but unfortunately not the rear brake light! This cost me my deposit, but luckily I had taken out the excess waiver, so it only cost me £250 not £1250! There is no way in the world that I caused that hole in the brake light, and how she saw it straight away without looking anywhere else you can only wonder..... It was so nice of them too, to waive the £50 parking charge as well. (even though there are no signs saying that I couldn't park where I did or risk a fine). So if anyone reads this, and rents a vauxhall van registration number DT69LFF, beware of the rear drivers side brake light! I would never use these people again, or recommend them to anyone! Use at your own peril.

I had to book a van last minute to move my son from uni and Ashley did absolutely everything he could to accomodate me! When I went in to pick up the van everyone was wearing masks and I felt very safe. Temi was really patient and explained everything to me in as much detail as I needed. Overall they made me feel so at ease because I was a bit nervous to rent such a big vehicle but I had absolutely no issues! Fab service will definitely return!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Hidden fees are not the worst thing. There's more.... It's based in Dartford but they don't have Dartford Crossing account and they do not inform you about that. I've passed the bridge twice and apparentely received penalty charges. They charged me 35£ on top of my penalty fee TWICE as an admin fee ( imagine that?!?!?) So I'm not only paying dart charge penalty but had to pay 70 £ because they're greede and try to take as much money from customers as they can. Worst service I've ever had.

I would like to make a complaint about the service my father in law received today. After renting a van which he had to pay a 200 pound deposit for he was told to park his car in a bay which then shortly after he was receiving phonecalls saying he would be fined 50 pound which was strangely waived after. When returning the vehicle keys to one colleague another colleague came along and demanded the keys and then went straight to the back of the van. They then claimed he had damaged a tail light which when he showed images to prove this wasnt him he was told it wasnt enough proof. This is all after being made to pay 25 pound for insurance! If the money is not returned to his bank i will be taking this to watchdog with the other terrible reviews from others who have been fraudulently abused by this company.

Stay well away from this place!!! Absolute disgrace of a company the manager ashley Thomas should be ashamed of his attitude towards his customers, hired a van from them today that then broke down up the road with engine management light on which we are now aware the manager knew about this engine problem before hand, so why would you rent out a vehicle that is not road worthy! We then had to wait two hours for aa for recovery and the manager ashley Thomas’s attitude was he thought it was funny and was hiding in his office then came out to us shouting. He was then rude and refused a refund of our money back! Never in my life have I come across someone so unprofessional rude and obnoxious as this man for a manger I am in complete shock you personally ashley thomas are getting a head office complaint against you! not even an apology from you is disgusting! all they care about is getting your money but give you a vehicle you can’t use so think twice before you use this company be very aware we since have heard more terrible stories regarding same company same staff members !!
