Just jaw dropping! Very peaceful place

Masha Allah what a wonderful mosjid
Very disappointed that this mosque did not accommodate women for their Eid prayers, despite reserving tickets for my wife online and the mosque already having a dedicated prayer space for women. I then asked the mosque if there second and last prayers would include space for women and they refused, and said there was no space for women at all for Eid. Using COVID as an excuse is just not good enough. Other mosques have staggered their prayers and have not taken away the women's space to prioritise men, they could have specifically made limited tickets for women, so I don't know why Suleymaniye would make this decision. It was a horrible start for Eid, and I pray no one else has to go through this. A mosque that cannot accommodate for half the community, is not a mosque that's fit for purpose. I've now taken this up with MCB to investigate.
