We visited the services including M&S. Sorry to have to include the shop in this awful review but I've wasted two hours at these services and it looks like the delays we found there are normal so I'd like other motorists to be aware. The M&S shop was fine but I can't leave a bad review for the entire area as Google maps does not currently show it separately. We spent 2 hours here on a Saturday afternoon due to total gridlock first trying to enter the services and then trying to leave. Car park blocked at both ends by weight of traffic going to Lakeside shopping centre. A guy in the garage told us this was "normal" on a Saturday afternoon. I'd have liked to have known this before hence my post.

Only stopped to use the showers but although they were clean they must be on a water meter or something as you push the button and it gives you 5 seconds of water. I'm just glad I didn't stay over night there and pay the appalling £38 for the privilege. Don't think I'll be stopping there again in the future.

Overpriced but it is at a motorway service area so no surprise. At least with a Marks at the services you get the option to have some healthy food rather than the cr@p from the ubiquitous McDonalds.
