I am new to the area and needed a locksmith to fix the lock on the front door. I chose Harry based on his reviews and I am not disappointed! Harry was great at communicating, turned up fast, ordered the part needed as it was a tricky one to get hold of. In the meantime knowing the lock wouldn't be in for a day or 2 Harry kindly put a safety lock on our door to prevent my mischievous 2 year old from escaping! Harry had some issues with his supplier but he was very apologetic and updated me on what was happening. When he fixed the lock and changed the cylinder he was very professional, friendly, respectful of the property by putting down his own mat and wearing his face mask! If I ever need a locksmith again I will definitely use Harry and recommend him in the future to anyone.

We totally recommend Harry, he was friendly and helpful on the phone. Arrived promptly, very considerate and did a great job replacing the locks on our front door, making extra keys there and then. Also had the lock in our sliding doors replaced, no drafts now and such a neat job.

The most important thing when you use a locksmith, is having someone you feel you can trust. Fortunately when I was looking for a local locksmith I found Gutting Edge Locksmiths. Straightaway I knew Harry was genuine and that the work being carried out was necessary. My lock wasn't working properly and I thought it would cost a lot to replace. But Harry managed to repair it by replacing the spring. Really chuffed to bits. I would highly recommend and use Cutting Edge again.

Great service from Harry this morning . Phoned at 9am here before 12 as promised and sorted within an hour Even tried to save us the cost of a new barrel even though we had managed to ram a key into it and break it off somehow by trying to “fix it “ourselves ! All this in 26degree heat wearing a face mask and working with an audience of small grandchildren 😀. Thoroughly nice guy and would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent service, I rang this morning for a quote to replace a mailbox lock. Within 2 hours he was round and job was done. Very professional service and very reasonable rates too. I highly recommend!
