Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations. They were also very kind to help us set up and learn the rules of the games we chose. It was lively on the weekday evening we visited on, but they were still able to find a table for our group of 6 without a reservation. There is a base fee of £5 per person, while the extensive drink menu were reasonably priced between £3-5, and cocktails were £7. A small array of games are available for purchase as well.

Wonderful board game cafe in the heart of Cardiff, game masters were very knowledgeable and were able to make modifications on the fly for new games to simplify them. They had a nice selection of snacks and appetizer style food options with a nice selections of beers on tap to match. While not the largest collections of games, there are more than enough to choose from boasting over 500 games according to our server, and with excellent suggestions from the game masters and all the classics you can’t go wrong!

Great selection of games, staff are lovely and have a great knowledge of the games. The food is lush at the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Sometimes struggle with table space but that can be expected when we're a large group all ordering food and playing! The toilets and gender neutral which is a huge plus for me! Makes for a great hangout spot with my non-gender conforming friends as we have no worries about facilities. If you're looking to mix up your hang out spots I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful date night here. We were looking for somewhere to enjoy each others company, with good food and drink. Finding this place, with the added bonus of board games was like striking gold. Atmosphere was great, staff super friendly and helpful, and the food was just right. The online booking software was really helpful. We are looking forward to visiting again soon when we are in the area to play more games.

Lovely board game Cafe in the centre of Cardiff. Good game choices, lovely food and brilliant, kind staff. Very good guru helped us with rules for a couple of games. Happy 1 year anniversary of opening! Hope there are many more to come
