I recommend JeffreyRoss Estate Agents to everyone planning to move to Cardiff. I arrived in this beautiful city with little experience and little ideas of where to look for a place for myself and the staff has been simply amazing in assisting me in all my needs. Whenever I had an issue, they were always there, ready to respond to all my (sometimes stupid) queries. Everyone has been extremely professional, kind and responsive. A formidable experience !:-)

Superb customer service, very knowledgable, always happy to help and go above and beyond for you. We purchased a house on a buy to let basis with JR and subsequently rented it with them. The whole process (through covid) was dealt with brilliantly and I would highly recommend them for both lettings and selling of properties around Cardiff.

Not even moved into the house yet, and we've been messed around non-stop. Emails being ignored and phone calls to try and move around appointments. Now they wish to push back our key-collection due to inventory issues from one person but cleaning from another. We were told that cleaning was being done the day before, and now it's on our moving in day. In addition, they wish to paint and re-carpet around us. Generally a god-awful experience, and I'd highly recommend going with any other agency. I'm certainly not looking forward to the tenancy ahead. Edit: Just had a phone call from the agency asking to change the review. I feel I am entitled to my opinions and that I shall change the review should I feel it necessary. After this phone call, I am less inclined to and will not be intimidated into thinking otherwise. Edit 2: In response to the reply below, there are a few things I wish to clarify. Firstly, we asked if it was possible to move in early, as due to the current situation we did not want to travel across the country as there is a global pandemic happening. We were told we couldn't move in early, and that was fine, you heard nothing more about it from us. Secondly, I will admit the key collection time change was less disruptive as I may have made it out to be, being moved from 10am to 11am. However, the cleaners had not even arrived at the property by the time we were moving in, and they arrived at 1:30, and had been informed to only clean the kitchen. The rest of the house was a complete mess, with dead insects littering the front room, clothes and items from the previous tenants still scattered about the house. This is not the cleaners' fault; they were not even informed that we were moving in and were under the pretense that we were moving out, but still they quickly cleaned the front room. The whole upstairs was left uncleaned, as was most of the front room. To say that the key collection was delayed so the cleaners could finish was a falsehood. The agency knew this, as we were told initially that the cleaning would be done by "late morning", and then at key collection this was amended to "today or tomorrow." As for the phone call, I believe the initial review to be adequate reasons for the rating so the call was unnecessary and feels as if it serves simply as an intimidation tactic. Once again, as previously stated, I will amend the review once I am satisfied with the services provided. Until then, this review score shall remain untouched.

Being an international student myself, I not only find JeffreyRoss Estate Agents, particularly Jon and Ryan polite but extremely helpful too. Would recommend them without reservation.

The team at JR were great, and extremely helpful from start to finish. Any issues we had with the property were sorted quickly, and fixed to a high standard. Their communication was great, and we received prompt, helpful replies, even at weekends. Although we’re moving elsewhere, if I’m back in Cardiff in the future, I’d certainly look to rent with them again.
