Got a quote for a 800 wide vanity unit (a replacement for one damaged by flood). The Bathstore salesman said that 800 mm worktop was out of stock, so for the insurance he would quote the 1200 mm price as they were roughly the same. The 800 mm would be back in stock by the time we placed an order. Drove 40 miles this morning to the store to place the order, to be told that they only do 1200 mm worktops which have to be cut to size and the edge polished. Why lie? I would rather have known this at the start and saved myself a journey as I want a finished worktop. Went straight to Leekes, placed an order and spent more money. Leekes understand customer service! Bathstore ....your loss and a bad review.

We are a plumbing and heating company. We went into the Cardiff road store to buy a bathroom for our client the one she wanted. We booked it out told someone would ring us and nobody did. At time of purchase we were told all items were in stock and would be with us with in 7 -10 days to find out after 14 days this was a complete lie and none of the items were actually available when we bought them. We had our money taken on false pretences. We paid on a debit card and were then told if we wanted a refund we would have to wait for a cheque to arrive. If you can take what you want when you are in the shop do so if you cant do fall into the trap we fell into. This has been a costly mistake for us as we had already got our client to give us the money for the bathroom and now we are having to buy else where and the cost is a lot higher.

(Bathroom fitter) I'm not surprised this company has gone under! The staff just want to sell clients the dream of a new bathroom, poor quality products, they mess up orders constantly, never answer the phone, and when you constantly have to drive to the store to actually speak to someone regarding a mistake they have created they dont give a damn! Goodbye bathstore and good riddance!!!
