I'd been recommended to use Thrifty as they were very accommodating and reasonably priced, and that recommendation was spot on. I was looking for a longer term hire however Jim and his team (Abbie especially) stepped in to help out when I was in need for an interim hire car. They couldn't have been easier to deal with, very reasonable with their pricing and a pleasure to deal with. Wholeheartedly recommended.
Myself and my partner had called at two separate occasions and happened to speak to the same extremely rude lady, thank you for being so rude as we found a much more competitive cost with staff who were actually happy to help!
Needed a car at short notice, was advised when I rang to use the web to secure a ‘buy it now price’ which represented the cheapest price I could get locally. There was no hard sell about extras and no scare stories given to me as I always use a separate policy to insure my excess. Their full to full policy means no extra selling of fuel costs. The car they rented me was way above my expectations. So overall I paid the cheapest price locally and got a car much better than the standard expected. Would definitely recommend and use again

Great customer service from start to finish! They collected me at the station and brought me to the office which was a huge help. Pick up was fairly painless (make sure you read through the notes they send before pickup and print things off and you'll be fine). Upgraded to a nicely spec'd XC60 & price was best around. Will definitely use again!
