Sunday morning football (away). Parking OK on road as arrived early. More parking neareisure centre.

The moor is an excellent place to go for walks with the river chess running adjacent to it and a small woodland walk running along the back. One of the must see spots is a small set of stepping stones leading from the woodland walk into the far corner of the Moor. There is plenty of space for activities such as football and kite flying (weather permitting) and children have often caught small fish in the river too, so be sure to take your nets and pots and return the fish after. Car parking is minimal, however there is a large free carpark about 500 yards from the main entrance.
