Pretty enough garden but very small and at £3 entry not value for money. Better option is the Hill Close Gardens at £4.50. Plenty to admire, read and places to sit even if wet. Toilet and plant sale.

This garden lies in a magical setting on the banks of the River Avon beneath the walls of Warwick Castle. Winding paths lead round every corner to dramatic views of the castle and ruined Medieval Bridge. This informal cottage garden is a profusion of plants, shrubs and trees - beautiful throughout our opening season.

My wife and I always enjoy the garden. Today my wife took her daughter to visit and found the gardens closed. There was no notice to that effect on the net and only a closed notice on the entrance. My wife was met with a very brusque retort from a couple in the garden with no conversation. Very disappointing !

Shut due to Covid19 August 2020. Did not see inside. Website TripAdvisor says it's open.☹️

My favourite place in Warwick. I'm a local resident and this place is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the town, especially in peak tourist season. The best time to see it in full bloom is typically June, but a wonderful location to visit year round that gives you unique views of Warwick Castle and for a bargain entry fee odd just £2.50! I love it and keep coming back.
