Lovely little M&S with free parking and a decent selection. I probably visit 2-3 times a week depending on where I am for work, spending probably around £200 a month and in the nearly a year I still get poor service. Staff never look happy, management ignore you and rarely do you get asked if you need any help or even hello. M&S definitely has a stigma against younger people shopping their brand. Staff are always suspicious and it can be uncomfortable at times tbh. If it wasn’t so convenient to shop at and I wasn’t picky about my food quality, I would shop somewhere else for sure... If a Waitrose ever came to Chelmsford again M&S will need to up its game in customer service and be more welcoming.

Good Choice of food cakes and ready meals. Could have done with more Tills being open as the queues were quiet long today. Store is always clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available.

Thank you Charlotte. I was looking for some corn on the cob and asked a sales assistant who said they were just around the corner. I’d already looked there but thought I’d look there again. Still didn’t see them. I must have had a dumb look on my face until Charlotte, I believe a supervisor or manager popped up and pointed right at them. She must’ve heard me asking another lady. I shall be returning when I’m next in Chelmsford. Gained customer. Thanks again.

Supposed to open at 08:00! Line of customers kept waiting until 08:03! in the 6° celcius cold! Friday 9th October 2020. Also one of their drivers sitting in his van with engine running polluting the atmosphere with fumes and noise. Registration number FD19 XFS.
