Covid. `````great public protection team chasing up business bending/ breaking the rules
Poorly performing council. Care very little about the bus services provided by tender. When I complained about the buses failing to turn up they just dismissed it by stating, "its a private company". No the bus services in gwynedd are subsidised by government funding, which is administered by the local authority. If the tenders, ie the private bus companies who are paid to run these services to rural communities are not delivering buses what are they being paid for? Gwynedd council are responsible for this.
Wanted to apply for a pet boarding licence. Unfortunately, this cannot be done online and it seems there is only one officer who does this, whom you have to wait around for them to call you back. Although staff are friendly, this just prolongs the process unnecessarily.
A very simple solution is to simply have the form available online or apply online, which would save the council a lot of time and hassle on unnecessary admin work, for a very straightforward process which other councils offer.
The binmen are laughable, broken bottles and bins scattered all over the street.
Gwynedd seem to be distancing themselves from the public. Their telephone number has been removed from their web page and finding it requires some effort. When you eventually get through a girl takes your phone number, e-mails it to the department responsible who may ring you back with 130 working days.... Why can't the departments answer the phone so that an instant answer to a query can be given?
