Sam is excellent at what he does, helpful, kind and welcoming I’ve been attending regular sessions for a while now and will continue to attend & recommend!

I was most of the way through training for my first marathon when, six weeks before the race, I injured my knee. Sam was very accommodating and flexible in arranging an appointment to see me at short notice and before my first appointment I fully expected to be told I couldn't run the race. Sam quickly diagnosed the injury, gave me a number of exercises to perform daily and gave encouragement that it would still be possible to run the race. Two further sessions with Sam later, I managed to make the start line and completed the race in 3 hours 42 minutes. I couldn't recommend Sam highly enough - without his treatment I wouldn't have completed the marathon.

Sam's advice, technique and ability to get to the root of the issue was excellent. I saw Sam twice in the 2 final weeks of my marathon training and both times he offered great treatment. I have always been prone to injury and the final weeks of marathon training were really tough. I have now just completed the hottest London marathon on record and did so injury free and I am already back running again. Thanks Sam.

I had constant knee pain for over 6 months before I went to Sam. It wasn't an easy injury to resolve but Sam was methodical and used different types of treatment to get down to the root causes of my injury. He has helped me build my strength and relieve the pain and I completed a 12k nuclear race running almost all the way in November! Sam is a great physio and have recommended him to friends and family.

I recently ran my first marathon (Brighton) at the age of 45. I had some foot pain during my training and initially wanted to see someone to (hopefully) reassure me that I wasn't doing further damage if I carried on training. At my first appointment with Sam he addressed the problem and also gave me my first ever sports massage. It certainly helped and I made several visits to Sam in the weeks leading up to the marathon which without doubt contributed to me reaching the start line both injury free and confident that I had done everything I could to prepare. I can certainly recommend Sam and will use him regularly regardless of whether or not I am injured. Prevention better than cure!
