Insane day out. Highly recommend booking the birds of prey experience for two with (I believe Ella), for the 9AM slot. This is because you will get to experience the facility before it even opens up to the general public at 1030! By the the time you’ve finished your hour session and explored the other well kept species on site stick around for the feeding show.
Really impressed by the falconry centre. Lots of great birds to see as well as other mammals. The bird show was really great too and the guy presenting the show was really informative. If you are in the area I’d highly recommend coming along. It’s not massive, so certainly not an all day thing but we booked in the 2:30pm slot and was there for just under 2 hours. From there we went strawberry picking which was also a nice bonus that added to the afternoon.
The centre has a fantastic array of birds of prey. Is well maintained and great for little explorers. However, flying displays are not shown in rainy weather so definitely worth checking the weather before booking to avoid disappointment.
Had an hour's falconry experience. One of the best things I've done. The staff were so friendly and informative, and the flying of the birds was amazing. Always wanted to get up close to just one of these amazing birds, but got up close to so many. A really fantastic experience
Very friendly staff, good social distancing, lots to do outside while we can't meet friends inside.
