Really lovely day out. Lovely guided tour. The dolls houses are beautiful and the view from the tower is great. Tea room was good too. Went with my 75 year old mum and 7 year old daughter and both loved our day out.

We enjoyed exploring the grounds and buildings of Layer Marney. Lovely views from the Tower, Lunch at the tea room was nice, staff were very friendly, and the barn was set up nicely. The gardens were well kept with lots of space for everyone to play. All in all it was a good day out

If you like old architecture in a rural setting this is one if the finest. Pre Hampton Court, notice the similarities. Just make sure you phone to prebook a tour. We didn't so outside photos only. Worth a detour.

Great place to explore. Tea Rooms are great for a little treat and fabulous views from the top of the tower. Really pleased with the precautions taken too.
