Narrow spaces and scary curbs on the way in and out (not sure why so many car park designers hate alloy wheels!). But it is handy if you don't mind those drawbacks.
Overpriced carpark, machines don't always work, you never feel safe there, then you have to walk through the obligitory urine smelling/ soaked stair well. I wouldnt park here in my own .
Apart of being in the proximity of downtown ( which is the main reason we're using it! ), the place itself is dirty, dark ! ( if you accidentally drop something on the floor, e.g car keys, your park ticket...) you must use a serious source of light to find that thing..) , as well as your most likely will find the closest park ticket dispenser out of service or unresponsive or, even worse it doesn't release your park ticket....after you already paid....
Great car park with clear instructions of where to pay and easy and efficient ways to pay like contact less card transactions.
Ok there have been some improvements over the last few years but nothing special. Its still very very poorly lit at the best of times, dirty, smelly and very expensive.
The main problem i find lies with the payment machines. Im always having to help people whom can't work them. Often the card payments are not working, theres no clear instructions which makes it difficult for anyone with disabilities or access needs. Staff seem to be either non existent or hiding away in a secret underground den.
But with all of the other car parks being pretty much the same in Cochester you wonder why people tend to go elsewhere!
