Convenient car park for town centre, only short walk up North Hill to main street. Good value at £3.50 per day and Mi-Permit app to pay for parking is good.
Downside is the car park was built for cars from the 80s and 90s , so parking spaces are very tight and concrete pillars will get your door or wing mirror eventually! Exit is grid locked in rush hour and the car park is generally full by 9 am.
The stair wells smell of urine and pot so I'd avoid using them if you can.
It's the best car park for a cheap long stay. but if you are planning to park here after 9am school days, you will get no luck getting a slot, most of the public spaces have already occupied by students.
There are only 2 levels availble for public the rest are for employees working at Octagon.
You need to get there early as the parking slots get taken up early. You pay cash or MiPermit. Parking areas not very wide.
Excellent value for money
These lifts are not working is since is too many years. So, is 2019 now! Where are going with these elevators?! What purpose of operating ongoing be fixtures improvement do better. How come people place were using an elevator to take there to the car park is! What a big disappointed it is! 😠
