Spent about a month in another class learning yoga from scratch in a fairly intense way (my default setting), then decided to try Johnston's class. His example and his advice, not only with yoga, but also with approach to life, has been truly inspirational. I feel I came to the class with a good basic foundation, but Johnston is really helping me to take it to the next level, and far beyond just the postures.
In summary the class is a winning combination of pragmatism and spirituality that is very good for me personally.... and with decent music as well. The classes are always different, which is great if you happen to be prone to boredom and/or a wandering mind....

Johnston is a great teacher, the classes have a relaxed atmosphere and a unique music selection which really energise the classes at the right moments.
I started the classes as a beginner but would like to think I quickly progressed to feel confident and ready to do more advanced postures.
Johnston took time to explain the benefits of each posture from many angles, and ensured that I was doing the postures properly and why the finer details of each posture really matter.
I'd recommend this class to anyone, beginners are welcomed and advanced yogis will benefit from Johnston's unique approach to yoga.

I have been attending Johnston's Yoga class every week for 4 years now and can highly recommend it for anyone looking to improve their fitness and flexibility - at any age. Johnston's a good teacher, and the facility at Deepcut (where I go) is excellent.
I was a beginner when I had my first class and soon improved massively thanks to Johnston’s great teaching! Amazing experience, 6 months in and I absolutely love it.
