One of the drivers from this dump drove so close to the back of me that we were almost rubbing bumpers up Colchester road, the speed limit was 40 and I was already doing 42 so I wasn’t going slow and I had a cue of people in front of me. He then went on the inside lane, continued to shout abuse at me and stick his fingers up at me while I had my 6 year old sister in the car. If my sister wasn’t in that car then he would have been in some serious problems with me that would make him regret his decisions. Do not go with this company if this is the sort of dirty muppet who will be coming into your home.

Very pleased with both the price of the job and how the job was done. Polite workers who cleared up after themselves. Would definitely recommend

Zero stars. I insisted my contractor use an authorised Bauder installer after his delays caused ply to get water damaged and start to delaminate. GRM Roofing were told the contractor had to replace delaminated ply before installation. They also advised the insulation to the wall had to removed to carry out the 300mm upstand. Instead GRM Roofing installed over the delaminated ply despite it being visibly water damaged and delaminated. I now have a flat roof and terrace with 18mm ply which is bowing beneath my feet and the only way to replace it is to take all the waterproofing and render finishes off. All of the waterproofing by GRM Roofing is worthless as it has to be uplifted, as is the Bauder “guarantee” because the sub base is not fit for purpose. I would expect a trained installer to have a DUTY OF CARE to ensure the substrate is fit for purpose – at the very least to notify the contractor that necessary repairs / works have not be carried out rather than cover it up. They claim the roof is correctly installed despite the up stand on to a wall only being aprox 100mm high (not 300mm and not overlapped!!). Apparently GRM Roofing will install Bauder product on any defective substrate, even when told it needs replacing first. I had to get roof vents installed retrospectively as GRM could not be bothered to even advise on, let alone arrange for vents as part of their works to a ventilated roof. There “defence” they “assume that the roof and subsrate are designed and in a suitable condition” despite I told them the ply was delaminated and needed to be replaced before the waterproofing. They also advise that despite 20yrs experience they could not tell the ply was delaminated, even though it was bowing and giving way underfoot. I guess they also didn’t notice the discolouring or mildew on the underside from over six months of water damage through the winter. Interestingly the other Bauder installer I asked to quote for the same works noted as soon as he walked on the roof that the ply needed to be replaced. You did not need tobe an expert to understand if 18mm ply bows, is waterstained and covered in mildew something is wrong.
