On visiting Barnes and Partners Harlow I was struck by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff in a bright and clean office. The family law solicitor was friendly, I found her to be knowledgeable and professional and dedicated to getting best outcome possible.

Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional service receive from Barnes and Partners starting from the receptionist all the way to Cara Avoid these solicitors, waste of time and money.

I had a very brief meeting. On entering the room the solicitor told me the name of a man in the room however did not introduce their role. When I asked I was told she has "100's of cases" and the trainee would be leading my case. I expressed my concern that she was inundated with work. I also told her I'd seen another solicitor who had started done work for me, so most of the preparation was done. She asked me why I'd come to her. I stated that she was charging a lower hourly rate. She asked me who had said this and then apologised that I had been mis-informed. She then got up and opened the door to reprimand the admin worker who'd given me this information. On coming back in she simply said "you should go with X (i.e. the other firm) as they will be much quicker than me". She then just walked out of the room! Leaving behind a stunned trainee. Both my friend and I were dumbfounded by her lack of professionalism and rudeness! Truly shocking interpersonal skills!

I had a consultation and I have never been spoken to so rudely. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people. Dingy smelly office as well..
