Best dressed in the business and the overall experience is top notch. The team at Stansted Airport are great, friendly, helpful and always offer the best. The fleet of cars on offer is also great and well spec'ed. Others may offer lower prices but with that comes the basic model of cars. At Sixt, you always get the GT, or S Line or M Spec model. As a weekly renter I would definitely recommend paying a visit to Sixt for your rental needs.

fantastic customer service during the rental. The manager on site was top. Experience during the car rental was top. But after all, overpriced. That was the most expensive car rental I have ever paid in life. After-rental service was bad with this overpriced rental. I received penalty fines from the toll road usage, the fines team from Sixt didn't reply my email. Customer service call center was in shortage and no staff was able to pick up my car. Got charged 80 gbp admin fee for two toll penalty without including the penalty charge itself. I still needed to deal with collector outsourced by the government, which is now full of hassles. It isn't so easy because you can't just pay the fine and leave in peace. If Sixt would have helped me settled the fine fees first through my credit card, I didn't need to call to the government and the collector individually as a foreigner.

Edited: sadly, due to issues around Invoicing I’ve had to denote this 5-star review to 3-stars. The vehicle was returned 2-minutes late - and for this I’m being charge a full extra day. And even then, that extra day was calculated incorrectly. The recorded return-time was 2 “hours” late rather than 2 “minutes” late. After 5 emails over 4 days trying to unravel, not once were these charges explained or made clear. The invoicing is a mess, and now I am told the additional days charge is valid because I was “2 minutes” later than the 30-minute grace period. There is even a charge for a “flexi-late return” whatever that means, it clearly doesn’t mean what it sounds like. Getting through on the telephone has been impossible, and thus far has required 5 emails over 4 days to unravel. Original review: I was really impressed with SIXT. The pickup staff (Aaron) was extremely helpful, professional, friendly and good humoured. The car I booked was not available (that’s just life with rentals I suppose) but a much nicer car for not much more was available and it was a dream to drive (Audi Q3) Drop off was a simple affair, again the staff member was fantastic - very friendly and clearly enjoys engaging with customers. No issues whatsoever.

Knowledgeable and polite service. Efficient and high quality. Negatives: 1)the price was better through a third party reseller than at the Sixt desk. 2) No screen wash.

Arrived at Sixt car rental stansted with my wife and daughter the service was very good. At first had a little bit of a misunderstanding with the kind gentleman that was dealing with our booking and we got a different car that we had booked. We got offered an upgrade for a different vehicle for an extra £70 so we accepted it as it offered full insurance. When the other car pulled up unfortunately it still was not an upgrade that we got promised. The manager came out to deal with this case and was really helpful and kind to accommodate us with a very nice upgrade thank you so much for your help. We drove away as a really happy customers.
