Pip saved the day! Red velvet wedding cake need for my son. Was short notice but was no problem. Was amazing and tasted wonderful. Did not last long. Exactly what we won't. Highly recommended and would use again.
Incredible! Pip at Cake of the Day was so helpful working with us to decide on sizes and flavours for our wedding cake. She made the whole experience enjoyable and even went the extra mile to get us edible flowers to decorate it. With so many things to think about she made this part easy. On the big day she arrived early to make sure everything was perfect for us, and made the cake look beautiful. We went for something that didn't look too over the top as all of our decorations were reasonably minimal, something that just looked delicious, after all, for us the taste is the most important part. We were not disappointed, we had a carrot cake layer, a lemon and elderflower layer and a vanilla layer, each one as wonderful as the last. We really couldn’t have asked for more and would 100% recommend Cake of the Day to others. We now only have one place to go for birthday cakes, cupcakes or any time we can find a reason (or excuse!) to get an amazing cake. Friendly and professional service with beautiful and delicious cake, what more could you want.
Pip makes absolutely amazing cakes. I've been getting the cake boxes during lock-down and it has really helped get me through this period. But now I'm addicted to them! It's a lovely parcel to get through your door! Really tasty and I love the variety too, changing every time. Thank you!
I ordered some tray bakes at quite short notice for my Gran’s funeral and Pip very kindly managed to squeeze them in. The crunchie tiffin and biscoff rocky road were absolutely delicious and lasted for days. Would 100% recommend.
Pip made two delicious cakes for a party we had for the clients of our care agency. One lemon drizzle and one chocolate and salted caramel. Both were fantastic and were enjoyed by all. Highly recommended!
