Best costa coffee shop I’ve been in! Service and cleanliness is 5 star and the staff are working super hard to keep everyone safe in this difficult time. Some rude customers today who the staff dealt with professionally and politely. All are doing an amazing job thank you to violet for her help today!

Was driving 1.5 hours with 2 kids, decided to jump in to my favourite coffee shop, hardly found a parking slot, queued for another 10-15 minutes, finally my wife took a place (table for 4) with the kids while I was going to order when we were told that that is not our place, but the previous customer's (2 person, there was no sign or anything on the table and Costa does not take table reservations as far as I know) and there are no more places inside, I told that will wait for another place then the lady refused to take our order forcing us to go out!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Do not recommend this particular Costa, the staff looks friendly, but they do not care about customers, especially with kids. Would give 0 stars if was possible...

Queued for 10 minutes - hopeful that an indoor seat would become free in that time. No such luck, so sat outside freezing for 20 mins with my coffee and tried to work, which was fine as I understand the lack of seating at the moment. Finally an indoor seat became free, so retreated back inside from the cold weather. Sat down, set my things up, and got back to work. Five minutes later a member of staff came over and asked me to leave as she'd promised the seat to somebody else (she promised in front of me, whilst I had already sat down). Customer had a young child so I was happy to give them the seat, but disheartened that I had been asked considering another table had just been taken by somebody that hadn't yet ordered. Genuinely felt like crying as that has compounded my awful day, and I'm too embarrassed to go back. Coffee was good.
