Good coffee. Friendly service. It was a bit late on in the day, and the cake selection was a bit sparce, but the jam and cream scone was excellent.
For the price of the food the service and quality of some of the food were not at standard expected. Fish and chips were good which 2 in my party had, I had Chilli con Carne. This had been warmed up in a microwave, mince was mush like you get from a tin. It was also very peppery had to leave it in the end.
Warm drinks served with no explanation until opened the bottles ...soft drinks.....that no ice and fridge not working. 45 minute wait for 2 very poor pizzas. Young waiting staff with no idea of how to attend tables or advice people to...... please go inside to order.....just pointed and grunted. Will never return shocked that this cost me over £30.
Absolutely disgusted that I just went back to get ice cream after being there two days ago and enjoying the ice cream, only to find when paying for the take away ice creams that they had jacked the price up by 50% since 2 days ago! With no signs of prices anywhere. Daylight robbery for two measly scoops of ice cream.
