Visited on 29/8/20 - beautifully maintained by friendly rail enthusiasts, lovely circuit of track through fields of sheep, a miniature tunnel and woodland. Felt very well managed from a Covid perspective - every other, open air, carriage was closed to allow for social distancing. Loved the smell of steam and coal!
Awesome little railway. We had a great time with or 2yr old daughter.
The railway is run by a charming group of guys who are so enthusiastic about what they do that you can't help being swept along with them. The track is surprisingly long and it runs alongside the Bentley wood for about 15 minutes per ride. It's quite relaxing and quiet there now but it is bound to be busier once the Bentley Nature Reserve and Motor Museum reopens next Easter.
