You will never find better help or cake supplies at a super reasonable prices I have yet to leave this shop without what I'm looking for and a bit of advice
Having suddenly found out that I am making and decorating my daughter's wedding cake next Spring (after many, many years break), I found this shop on Google. OMG!!! What an absolutely amazing shop - everything you need , and lots more you didn't even know you needed!!! The ladies were SO knowledgeable and helpful about more up to date techniques that I could use - total revelation - and lots if encouragement. Am sure I'll be back 🙂
This is a lovely shop, an Aladdin's Cave.
Staff are friendly and extremely helpful, often suggesting better ways to create the weird or crazy ideas I have, as well as helping with advice over the phone.
Every time I visit there's something new I see, or am told about.
The courses are fun, informative and reasonably priced, producing beautiful works of art.
Really disappointed. Popped in today to ask for an estimate to make a basic Wedding cake with fondant topper figurines. Whilst the assistant was polite it was immediately clear from their verbal response they didn't want the work- they focused on the costs which wasn't our first concern. My partner is an advocate for using local/ independent providers where possible but this experience has made us widen our search to the internet- a real shame 🙁
This place is amazing!! I didn't realise this shop existed until I couldn't get the cake board I needed from hobbycraft so Googled to see where else I might be able to get it from. Wish I had come here before to get everything I needed as they are so helpful and knowledgeable and have everything you need, including edible cake toppers and an edible photo printing machine!
