Great place! The pilot Stephen is a wealth of knowledge and happy to talk you through your queries in a friendly relaxed way. Not only expert instruction but fairly priced and worth a visit. A perfect gift choice, especially in these uncertain time. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you soon.

I just want to take this opportunity to write a few words about Stephen the owner and instructor at the flight school. My son has been having lessons over the past year. Rarely have I come across such a understanding an empathetic teacher. As an ex-teacher my self I tend to be very critical but Stephen was faultless. He is patient and knowledgable and can help any individual understand even the most complex information in a accessible and fun manner. He is always well prepared and seems to have an infinite amount of time and patience. This is on the ground in a classroom setting and in the practical application of the individuals understanding in the air. In the plane he is unflappable and has an air of control that he transfers to his students. You never feel the student becoming worried or concerned. He progressively develops their flying skills with gentle challenges that support development. My son is a quiet individual but has progressed in his flying in a way I never thought possible. This is due to the skill and utter professionalism of Stephen. I cannot recommend him and the Flight school enough.

Great fun doing flight training with Stephen and Ed. Nice to be coached by guys with such a passion for flying and developing pilots. Even the kids enjoyed a visit; they got to sit in the excellent simulator and also see the cockpits in the real planes (but sadly too young to fly)! A great little flight school with the bonus of beautiful local scenery.

I have the privilege of helping Stephen out on occasions most weeks ( since furloughed from the day job) flight instructing at Snowdonia Flight School. I’ve been involved with aviation for over 20 years and I can say with all honesty that I’ve not seen such passion and drive from someone with the net result being a successful flight school. In an area which has so much to offer to both locals and tourists alike, Snowdonia Flight School is up there as a first class attraction and training establishment.

Have been undertaking lessons with Stephen and Ed, for a couple of months and so far have found it a very laid back great atmosphere establishment with learning at a pace suited to myself from ground school to the practical elements using very high quality planes, with a non commercial feeling there’s no clock watching and no back to back lessons thus gaining their full attention whilst undergoing training. Whether you are considering a day trip to see the stunning coast by air or a flight over Snowdonia come on down you’ll be assured of a warm welcome no matter what your purpose of visit and some great clean facilities.
